A railing elevation without its substrate, level changes and openings is not a complete enquiry.

Show every run, corner, end, change of level, opening and adjoining material. Mark whether posts are embedded, base-plated or mounted to a wall or other structure, but leave dimensions and anchors to the approved project design. Gates need their own clear openings, movement, hardware, posts and controls. Civil works, waterproofing, drainage, services and installation tolerances must be assigned rather than hidden behind “by others”.
