Separate line and terminal conditions.
Line posts support intermediate runs. Ends, corners, changes of direction and gate openings create terminal conditions that must collect fabric tension and may require different posts, bands, bars and braces. Mark each terminal location on the fence-line drawing.
Choose the longitudinal support route.
A top rail, tension wire, bottom rail or other project-supported arrangement controls different parts of the fabric edge. State what is included along the top, middle and bottom rather than assuming every chain-link fence uses the same support pattern.
Make the tension path visible.
The offer should identify tension bars, bands, brace rails, truss or brace components, ties, clips and spacing basis where the supplier is responsible. A drawing is more useful than a list of generic fitting names because it shows how each component works at ends and corners.
Keep finish compatibility in scope.
Posts, rails, fittings, fasteners and repair materials should be compatible with the fabric finish and exposure. A polymer-coated fabric paired with unmatched bare components may satisfy neither appearance nor durability expectations unless the difference is intentional.
Assign foundation and installation responsibility.
The supplier can state offered posts and available base or embedment options. The responsible project party must confirm site actions, soil or slab, anchors, concrete, services, drainage, installation method and local requirements before release.

Carry these fields into the enquiry and return unknowns as open items instead of filling them with generic values.
What a usable supplier response should return.
A useful response does more than repeat the enquiry. It identifies the exact proposed product and component basis, uses the same units and location IDs as the buyer's schedule, and distinguishes confirmed values from assumptions. Where a field depends on a survey, responsible design input, local requirement or another trade, it should remain visibly open rather than being converted into a silent typical value.
The commercial offer should also state what is included, optional and excluded; which drawing or datasheet revision controls the answer; what evidence maps to the offered configuration; and what must be approved before fabrication. This lets buyers compare like with like and prevents a quotation from accidentally closing a structural, safety, civil or compliance decision.
Questions to close before quotation or release.
