This guide decides: which observations, events, records and responsibility gates belong in the lifecycle plan.
This guide does not decide: a universal inspection interval, field repair instruction, component acceptance limit, safe system of work or engineering release.
Separate receiving, routine and event checks.
At receipt, reconcile marks and quantities and record visible condition before components are distributed. Routine checks should follow the project plan and observe alignment, connections, bases, braces, gates, signs, ground and public interfaces. Event checks should follow relocation, impact, strong wind, vandalism, excavation, flooding, added sheeting or any changed layout.
Control relocation as a new configuration.
Record the source and destination run, approved layout revision, crew, component IDs or quantities, missing parts, ground condition and reset checks. A movable product does not mean every new arrangement is automatically acceptable. Where the support, exposure, public interface or duty changes, route the new condition to the responsible reviewer before release.
Use quarantine and disposition records.
Provide a clearly identified area for bent, cracked, corroded, contaminated or incomplete components. The record should state observed condition, photographs where appropriate, affected marks or quantities, temporary controls and the named owner who decides accept, repair, replace or scrap. Do not publish a generic repair method where manufacturer or project approval is required.

Choose the next review route from the actual condition. The ledger is not a rating, approval or installation instruction.
Project-input schedule
Use the same revision for every supplier. Unknown values remain open items with an owner and due date.
What a usable supplier response returns
The response identifies the exact offered configuration, component quantities, drawing basis, materials or finishes, packing and document register. It separates confirmed values from assumptions, options, exclusions and deviations. Project safety, structural, electrical, traffic, accessibility and impact decisions stay with their responsible authorities.

- Which plan sets inspection intervals and competent persons?
- What events trigger immediate isolation or re-review?
- Can relocated components be traced to a new approved layout?
- How are incomplete or damaged items quarantined?
- Who approves repair or reuse?
- Are close-out records linked to the exact run or component?
